Performance venues
First Freedom is a production so significant and important that its message must be told to as many people as possible. A long standing production in one of America's entertainment districts or a national tour will make the show available to millions of people a year and provide needed capital for the not-for-profit company First Freedom Productions, Inc. to get the message out in other ways.
For example, in the summer of 2007, First Freedom Productions, Inc. received a generous grant from The Benjamin Foundation of Sandy, Utah, for the production of a scaled down version of the full-length production for performance at Colonial Days, an event at the Freedom Festival in Provo, Utah over the week of July 4th. This one-act, seven actor version of First Freedom holds on to the entertainment values while still communicating the great message of the show. Having both the full-length production and the one act version adds more versatility to the types of venues and occasions First Freedom would be suitable for. Follow on venues are also being negotiated. Branson, Missouri, Colonial Williamsburg?
Other possible production venues or appropriate occasions that either version of First Freedom could participate in include: Colonial Williamsburg, nation-wide freedom festivals or Colonial events, fundraising events for freedom conscious organizations, professional national tours, educational national tours to schools and communities, and other entertainment districts.
Undoubtedly this production, so artistically appealing with a message so urgently needed, will find many other suitable outlets. Please let us know what your ideas are for our production.
