Larry Sidwell

Producer, First Freedom

Majoring in International Affairs and Political Science, Larry has always had an interest in Public Policy, but a part-time service as a guide at Monticello stirred his interest in America and religious freedom.

Larry is the script owner and producer of "First Freedom," a two-act musical play depicting how, for the first time in human history, the government of Virginia passed a legislative act that banned a state sponsored religion and guaranteed that no one would be discriminated against because of his religion. He is Chairman of First Freedom Productions, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the play to the stage and promoting knowledge and appreciation of its message.

He is an author, writing two books, both biographical. Larry is married, father of five children, and lives in Earlysville, Virginia

For me the purpose of First Freedom is to not only entertain, which we will do in a very big way, but it is to make people aware of the incredible gift of religious freedom that our fore fathers gave to us and to teach them what real religious freedom really is and to try and instill in them a desire to preserve and protect this great gift of religious freedom which we have .
